Kobo Libra 2 Firmware Updates in 2024

I bought my Kobo Libra 2 (Black and White) in 2021 and since then it had a few firmware updates.

Will I buy the Kobo Libra 2 Colour? Maybe not. But I’ll definitely buy the Supernote A5 X2 and eyeing for the Boox Go 7 to try what it feels like to read in colour.

Software version: 4.38.23171 (6b37offfff, 10/29/24)

Sync improvements
Fixed: Sync can become stuck at “updating annotations” after creating certain markups.

Parental controls

• Improved clarity around Parental Controls (More > Settings > Accounts)
• Your eReader will now prevent sideloaded books and documents from being added to My Books while parental controls are enabled.
