As of this writing, I’ve tried four web hosting providers, and Web Hosting Canada is the recent after a long research. My other choice was CanSpace for those who are curious.
For once, it’s nice paying in Canadian dollars and need not worry of currency conversion charge.
Because I’ve been away in blogging during the lockdown, I think I’m a bit rusty and been doing things the old way. But now a lot have changed especially in cPanel.

Assuming you were able to create a database on Web Hosting Canada, I’ll show you how to delete a database on Web Hosting Canada.
- Log in to cPanel.
- Go to MySQL Databases.
- Choose the database you want to delete under the Current Databases.
- Delete the user associated with the deleted database under the Current Users.
To avoid confusion and to keep things tidy up, I always delete user that is not associated with any database. You can skip no. 4 if you prefer to do so.
Sometimes I don’t find the answer I’m looking for when I use the Help Center of WHC. So whatever, I learn, I’ll write about it here on my blog.
